Summary:
As a Senior Estimator, you will play a critical role in our company by leading the preparation of accurate construction estimates, budgets, and bids for a wide range of commercial projects especially dealing with Commercial Painting and Architectural Millwork or Finish Carpentry.
Your expertise will guide the estimation process, ensuring precision and strategic insight.
Key Responsibilities of the Bilingual Senior Construction Estimator
• Lead the estimation process for various commercial construction projects especially with Commercial Painting and Architectural Millwork or Finish Carpentry is required.
• Bilingual- English/Spanish is Required.
• Oversee and maintain a comprehensive cost database
• Analyze labor, material, and time requirements to compute project costs
• Prepare and review detailed reports and bids for submission to clients and stakeholders
• Develop thorough proposals with clear information and cost breakdowns
• Manage and prioritize multiple estimation projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
• Provide expert guidance and responses to customer inquiries throughout the bidding process
• Collaborate with project teams and Senior Estimators to review project specifications and drawings
• Mentor and guide junior estimators, fostering professional development within the team
Requirements:
• Proven ability to interpret and understand complex construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel, On-Screen Takeoff, and Estimating Software (e.g., PlanSwift)
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in construction estimating
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
